Dr. Taunya Marie Tinsley, BCC

Taunya Marie Tinsley, PhD, DMin, serves as Dean and Professor in the School of Graduate Studies at Pillar College, providing academic leadership for graduate programs while preparing the next generation of professional counselors, ministry leaders, and helping professionals. Her teaching, scholarship, and leadership are grounded in a commitment to integrating clinical excellence, Christian faith, multicultural competence, and leadership formation to promote whole-person flourishing.

With over 30 years of professional experience, Dr. Tinsley has held leadership roles across higher education, clinical mental health counseling, ministry, and athletic development. Prior to joining Pillar College, she served as Director of Certification and Credentialing Services for the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC), providing strategic leadership for national counselor certification initiatives. Her academic background also includes faculty and administrative appointments at California University of Pennsylvania, Waynesburg University, Missio Seminary, Villanova University, and Lincoln University.

An ordained minister, Dr. Tinsley founded Love & Basketball Ministries and Life Coaching Services, where she serves as owner and practitioner. Based in Paoli, Pennsylvania, she offers both local and worldwide online life coaching, integrating faith, mental health, and leadership to foster human flourishing across educational, ministry, community, and athletic environments. Guided by the philosophy that coaching is the art of moving individuals and groups from where they are to where they want to be, her practice encourages, challenges, and motivates clients to clarify life directions, gain confidence, and reach higher levels of fulfillment. Her life coaching focuses on helping culturally diverse individuals discover and express their true, genuine selves while guiding them through personal growth, leadership formation, and organizational consultation.

By blending clinical insights, multicultural competence, and spiritual development, Dr. Tinsley assists clients in designing a richer life, achieving enhanced performance, and moving forward into a more satisfying future.

Kim Saylors-Laster, JD, MS-Counseling, BCC, is a recognized leader in coach education, co-founder of The Barnabas Team, LLC, and president of the Barnabas Institute of Professional Coaching, LLC. She successfully led both organizations to earn status as Center for Credentialing & Education (CCE)-approved Registered Coach Training Providers (RCTP). Having held the Board Certified Coach (BCC) credential since its inaugural year, Laster integrates extensive coaching experience, legal expertise, and behavioral science to equip candidates to master core coaching competencies.

Prior to her transition into professional coaching and consulting, Laster enjoyed a distinguished corporate career with a Fortune 5 company. There, she served in executive leadership roles as vice president of energy and vice president of compliance. Her leadership experience at one of the world's largest enterprises provides her with a deep, practical understanding of the complex organizational environments in which executive and corporate coaches operate.

Today, through her work as an RCTP, coach, and consultant, Laster remains deeply committed to elevating the coaching profession. As part of this commitment, she partnered directly with CCE to develop a national initiative recruiting and preparing faith-based leaders for the BCC credential. She is the author of Board Certified Coach Competency Handbook: An Essential Guide for BCC Exam Preparation and Professional Development for Coaches.By equipping the next generation of practitioners with the exact tools needed to achieve the gold-standard BCC credential, she leverages her unique background to help coaches and leaders bridge the gap from where they are to where they aspire to be.

Dr. Patrice J. Carter, BCC

Dr Patrice J Carter is a distinguished educator, leadership coach, curriculum developer, and transformational speaker with over 30 years of experience in higher education, instructional design, entrepreneurship, healthcare administration, military service, and faith based coaching. She is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Breakpoint Coaching Collective LLC where she develops coaching certification programs, digital courses, and leadership training for Christian coaches, ministry leaders, speakers, and entrepreneurs. She is a Board Certified Life Coach, Certified Holistic Health Coach, and Coach Trainer who specializes in equipping leaders to build sustainable coaching businesses, online schools, and purpose driven platforms. Through her work, she mentors service based entrepreneurs in transforming their expertise into scalable digital programs rooted in faith, integrity, and excellence.

Dr Carter has served as an Adjunct Professor at Campbell University for over a decade, teaching business and healthcare administration courses across traditional, online, and military affiliated campuses. Her expertise includes adult learning, instructional design, curriculum development, and digital course creation, which she uses to design engaging and transformational learning experiences.

She holds a PhD in Business and Technology from Capella University, an MBA from Webster University, an MS in Health Administration from Central Michigan University, and a BS in Management. She is also a United States Army Veteran and Military Spouse with leadership experience in the Army Reserves.

Dr Carter is a published author of SUPERb Woman From Bad Girl to Gods Girl, Rainbows in Dark Places and 65 Ways to Be Successful in Business. She is a sought after speaker, mentor, and consultant passionate about faith based coaching, leadership development, and helping individuals experience transformation spirit soul and body.

She resides in North Carolina with her husband Dalton Carter, a retired Army Veteran, and is a proud bonus mother to their children Miles, Destiny, and Desire.

Karen Redding, BCC

Karen Redding is a Board Certified Coach whose practice is anchored by an academic background in Human Development and Family Science from Samford University, credentialed coach training through the Barnabas Institute, and more than three decades of practical leadership, community building, and lived experience.

Karen began her foundational studies at Samford before choosing to focus on raising and homeschooling her three children. That season became an extraordinary classroom, honing capacities in strategic organization, teaching, problem-solving, and relational leadership. Those years also launched a defining thread in her career: building communities where people can learn and thrive. She went on to found a local homeschool community, direct children's programming for the Tennessee Homeschool Convention, and lead children’s literacy initiatives as a public library activities director.

Her leadership footprint spans both entrepreneurial and organizational spaces. Karen has co-founded small businesses, directed women’s ministries, organized events, and facilitated team development. Grounded in the philosophy of Leadership as Service, her work is further backed by advanced John Maxwell leadership training. In 2020, she returned to Samford to complete the degree she had begun years earlier, subsequently earning her Board Certified Coach (BCC) credential.

Today, Karen brings together an insatiable curiosity about human nature, a solid academic foundation, and decades of real-world leadership. Her work focuses on the human side of growth- identity, life transitions, relationships, and resilience.

Karen excels at community building, creating spaces where individuals feel connected, supported, challenged, and inspired to move forward.

Keith Sun is a Career Success Coach for TriHealth, one of the top integrated health care systems in the Cincinnati metropolitan area. In this current role, he provides one-on-one coaching for both clinical and corporate employees, supporting their professional development and career mobility.

Keith was previously Director of Cooperative Education for the nationally ranked Carl H. Lindner College of Business at the University of Cincinnati, where he helped develop a required co-op/internship program for more than 4,000 undergraduate business students, and won multiple individual and team national awards in the field of college student career development.

He is both a Board Certified Coach and a certified Global Career Development Facilitator. Keith has a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, a Master of Business Administration degree, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Neurobiology, Physiology, & Behavior.

Pamela Seals, PhD, MS, LPCMH, BCC, is a behavioral health clinician, educator, certified coach, and workforce development trainer with expertise in trauma-informed care, mental health counseling, crisis intervention, and professional education. She holds a PhD in Philosophy with advanced studies in adult behavior from Capella University and a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University.

Dr. Seals has served as a Trainer/Educator with the State of Delaware, developing and delivering trauma-informed care, suicide prevention, Mental Health First Aid, and crisis intervention training to hundreds of professionals. She has also served as an adjunct professor and provides psychotherapy and coaching services to adolescents, adults, and couples.

As founder and CEO of RAOS, Inc., Dr. Seals is committed to strengthening individuals, organizations, and communities through life-coaching, counseling, behavioral health education and workforce development. She is also a published author.

Stephanie Martin, BCC

Stephanie Martin, BCC, ACC is a Board Certified Coach with more than 30 years of experience in the field of education, special education, and behavior analysis.

She is well-versed in working with individuals of all ages and within all areas of neurodiversity. She brings a unique perspective and unwavering passion for supporting individuals and the community through personalized coaching.

Her approach to coaching is focused on co-creating an environment where clients have maximized opportunities to be their own self-determined advocates while gaining the skills and confidence to be successful, personally and professionally.

Andrá R. Ward, MSPOD, BCC, is a transformational leader, globally board-certified executive coach, master facilitator, and change management strategist with more than 35 years of experience working with individuals, teams, and executives in human resources development. His work spans leadership development, organizational effectiveness, cultural integration, leadership alignment, and sustainable change across a wide range of industries and organizations.

Andrá serves as President and Chief Culture & Transformation Officer at KhafreWard. Through his proprietary, values-driven advisory framework PIVOT (People, Purpose, Culture, Values, Transformation), he guides leaders and organizations through complex transitions with intention and purpose. With extensive experience advising organizations across healthcare, education, government, non-profits, financial services, manufacturing, and utilities, Andrá brings a wealth of experience and broad organizational perspective to every coaching dynamic.

Dr. Samantha Weissrock is an organizational psychologist and executive coach who focuses on the unique challenges facing healthcare and nonprofit professionals. Drawing on firsthand experience in healthcare administration and mental health advocacy, she helps leaders navigate burnout, pressure, and self-doubt while leading with compassion and staying connected to their sense of purpose.

Through her consulting practice, Dr. Weissrock has collaborated with mission-driven executive leaders, translating strategy into healthy workplaces that enhance engagement, performance, and accountability, while improving operations and employee satisfaction.

She serves as faculty at the University of Louisville and Walden University, teaching future leaders how economics, policy, regulation, and behavioral forces shape access, cost, and quality of care with an emphasis on underserved communities. Her research examines how language shapes leadership, career attainment, and self-fulfilling prophecies.

Dr. Weissrock holds a PhD in Organizational Psychology, a Master of Psychology, and a Master of Interdisciplinary Studies, along with certifications in coaching, consulting, Neurolinguistic Programming, CBT, Emotional Intelligence, and Goal Setting. She is a frequent speaker on the topics of impostor syndrome, burnout, self-fulfilling prophecy, and the stressors of leadership.
